Eating too much fruit?
21, female, 5'5, 136 pounds (down from 152). Between 1000 and 1200 calories per day
I recently went from just eating smaller portions of what I'd usually eat (but cutting out bread, milk, rice, candy, fast food and cheese) to eating mostly fruit.
My normal day looks like this: Breakfast: apple Lunch at work: apple and banana Main meal: fish, egg, chicken or tofu + a big bowl of mixed vegetables Dinner: an orange, berries, grapes or apple
Now a few people have told me that this isn't healthy, I'm eating too much sugar. I used to eat a whole pack of cookies, cereal with milk, candy and cake regularly or even daily, so to me this seems healthy. This isn't something I did intentionally, I just slowly started to eat more fruits and vegetables and it made me feel better so i cut out a lot of foods that didn't + I'm hungry less often even when I eat less calories.
Is this healthy or should I change something about my diet?
TL;DR Is eating mostly fruits unhealthy?
