Why aren't I losing weight?
I currently weigh 309 lbs, 6'3, 25 years old.
I've lost maybe a pound and a half in the last two weeks. Maybe 3 days out of the last 14 this wasn't the case, I've eaten at a huge Caloric deficit, like <1800 calories a day, with low carbs, where at my current weight and height I should be able to eat up to like 2400 calories a day and still be losing 2 pounds a week.
In march of 2020, I ate similarly to how I am now (probably overdid it a bit tbh) and I went from 303 lbs to 286 lbs in like 3 weeks. I'm not expecting these results obviously but from objective measurements of my weight, height, and age into calorie calculators I shouldn't be struggling to lose every pound like I am at 309.
Anyone have any ideas as to why that is? I don't think it's that I'm not eating enough, still eating a bit more than I did in 2020.
The big change in variable is that I've been working out a ton, could that be it? I know humans don't gain muscle-weight very quickly at all though.
