Do you weigh yourself daily or weekly, and why?

20M, 6’1, CW: 204.4lbs, SW: 265lbs, GW: 187lbs (subject to change).

I typically weigh myself weekly, in the morning before I eat or drink. Doing this has usually prevented me from seeing any fluctuations and my weight always goes down every week.

But, I did my weekly weigh in on Thursday. Had only lost 1.8 pounds that week. I thought there was no way (I kept my deficit consistent and walked 70k steps that week), so I weighed myself the next day and I had lost another 1.2 pounds, by simply weighing myself the next day.

Then I decided to weight myself the next day (this morning) and I have lost another 1.4 pounds. So in the past two days, after my weekly weigh in, I have lost another 2.6 pounds.

Not sure if this is a weight fluctuation, but now I am interested so I feel like I want to start weighing myself every day. I always look forward to weighing myself every week, so why don’t I just do it every day?
